Nick Magel - Global Exchange
Nick got involved with EAC through Global Exchange’s youth networks on the Freedom from Oil Campaign, where students continue to create sustainable transportation on universities and pass groundbreaking climate policies on campuses.
"I’m in the movement because we are working in the defining moment of our generation. Throughout history youth have been the catalyst for change. Climate change work transcends beyond environmentalism, it necessitates creating a clean energy paradigm while inducing a social and cultural shift that will transform our institutionalized norms and injustices. Working as an ally in a movement that is going to break our addiction to fossil fuels, transform our economy, and strengthen our global community, is work I see paramount to my generation."
